Lisa Milliron, M.Ed., TVI/COMS

Lisa Milliron is the founder and President of Inspired Vision Services. She has been an elementary teacher, educational technology specialist, and a Low Vision and Cortical Visual Impairment Program Director at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  Ms. Milliron earned her Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Certified Orientation and Mobility 

Lisa Milliron is the founder and President of Inspired Vision Services. She has been an elementary teacher, educational technology specialist, and a Low Vision and Cortical Visual Impairment Program Director at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.  Ms. Milliron earned her Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Certified Orientation and Mobility licenses from The Ohio State University. She is an active member of AER, ACVREP, and the Pediatric Cortical Visual Impairment Society. Lisa is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive the appropriate educational services that they need to succeed.

The role of the Teacher of the Blind and Visually Impaired is to provide assessment, direct, and consultative services to students who are blind or visually impaired.


The TVI is able to: 

  • Provide Specialized Instruction & Services
  • Interpret Medical Eye Reports
  • Conduct Specialized Assessments
  • Actively participate in the ETR & IEP
  • Recommend Educa

  • Provide Support and Instruction in the Expanded Core Curriculum
  • Provide Training and Support to School Staff and IEP teams
  • Participate in Transition Planning

Service Delivery Platform Options

CVI is the leading cause of pediatric visual impairment. Lisa is a Perkins-Roman CVI Range Endorsed educator and has classroom experience with students diagnosed with CVI and additional disabilities.
